Privacy Policy

This policy explains what ToolGleam (“we”) does with information when you use toolgleam.com. The short version: we don’t ask who you are, we don’t keep your files, and most tools never send anything to us at all.

Tools that run in your browser

Most tools — image editing and compression, PDF merge/split/rotate, text, developer and calculator tools — work entirely on your device. The files and text you use with them are not uploaded to us.

Tools that use our server

Some tools send your input to our server because a browser can’t do the job: document conversion, HTML to PDF, PDF to image, PDF compression, OCR, background removal, website checkers, code sharing and video/audio tools. Each of those pages says so. Files are processed in a temporary folder that is deleted as soon as the result is returned; we don’t look at, keep or share them.

Code Share stores the code you share until the expiry you choose (at most 30 days).
Website checkers fetch only the public address you enter.

Logs and abuse protection

To stop abuse, our server keeps a short-lived, in-memory count of requests per IP address. Standard web server logs (IP address, time, page requested, browser type) may be kept for up to 14 days for security and are not used to identify you.

Cookies and storage

We don’t use cookies for tracking. Some tools save your own preferences or notes in your browser’s local storage (for example the Online Notepad); that data stays on your device and you can clear it at any time.

Analytics

We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without building a profile of you.

Advertising

We may show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent first. Children

ToolGleam is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.
